All Sister’s Mercantile TN items are handcrafted, and many are created using one-of-a-kind vintage and antique textiles. Because of the unique nature of these materials, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to sizing, color preference, natural material variation, minor cosmetic imperfections, or change of mind. Customers are responsible for reviewing item descriptions, measurements, and photos prior to purchase.

Our vintage and antique textiles are carefully inspected and laundered using a skin-sensitive detergent prior to production. However, due to the age and prior use of these materials, they may naturally display signs of wear and history. These characteristics may include, but are not limited to, fabric wear, fading, discoloration, small repairs, minor stains, patchwork variations, thinning fabric, or other textile irregularities. These features are part of the character and authenticity of vintage materials and are not considered defects.

We take great pride in our craftsmanship and stand behind the seams and construction completed by Sister’s Mercantile TN. If your item arrives with a workmanship defect related specifically to construction completed by our team, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the issue. Depending on the situation, we may offer a repair, replacement (if available), or partial refund at our discretion.

Please note that original quilt construction — including quilt block seams, hand-stitched elements, previously repaired areas, or other characteristics of the vintage textile itself — are not considered workmanship defects and are not eligible for return, exchange, or repair.

Damage caused by improper washing, drying, or handling after delivery is not considered a workmanship defect.

Because many of our items are one-of-a-kind, exact replacements are not always available.
