We offer local pickup for customers in and around Clinton, Tennessee. If you select local pickup at checkout, we will contact you by email to arrange a convenient pickup time and location.

Delivery time depends on the carrier and destination. Most orders arrive within several business days after shipment, but we cannot guarantee delivery dates once the package is in the carrier’s possession.

FAQ

Yes. Every Sister’s Mercantile piece is thoughtfully handcrafted by us using carefully selected base garments and vintage or specialty textiles.

While we do not manufacture the original garments or construct the quilts themselves, each item is individually designed, cut, assembled, and sewn by us using professional sewing equipment. Because of this hands-on process, slight variations are natural and part of what makes each piece unique.

Many of our products are made using vintage and antique quilts or textiles. These materials have history and character, which means they may show signs of age such as fading, small repairs, or slight imperfections. We believe these features add to the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.

Repurposing vintage textiles helps preserve history, reduce waste, and create truly unique pieces that cannot be mass produced.

We photograph each item as accurately as possible. Because many of our items are made from vintage textiles and are one-of-a-kind, pattern placement, colors, and fabric details will vary from piece to piece.

Yes. Vintage textiles are carefully inspected and laundered using a skin-sensitive detergent prior to being used in our products.

We provide measurements and sizing details in each product listing. Because many of our items are handmade and one-of-a-kind, customers are responsible for reviewing measurements before purchasing.

If you have questions about sizing, please contact us before placing your order — we are happy to help!

Care instructions vary depending on the product and materials used. Specific care guidance will be included with your purchase when applicable.

Wearable Garments:

Machine wash cold, turned inside out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not dry clean. Do not iron directly on textile or appliqué areas.

All Other Textile Items:

We recommend spot cleaning by hand using gentle soaps whenever possible.

Because many of our items incorporate vintage and specialty textiles, following proper care instructions helps preserve the integrity and longevity of your item.

Processing and shipping times vary by item and order volume. Estimated processing times are listed in each product listing. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information.

We add new items frequently and announce product drops on our Facebook page.

Because many of our products are made using one-of-a-kind vintage textiles, identical items are rarely restocked. However, items made using new materials or repeatable designs may be restocked depending on material availability and customer demand.

At this time, most of our items are ready-made and one-of-a-kind. Limited custom work may be available depending on material availability.

Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, so items are only held for a limited time during checkout. If checkout isn’t completed within that time, the item may return to the shop for someone else to purchase. If you love something, we recommend checking out sooner rather than later so it doesn’t slip away.

Because we work with vintage and antique textiles, small signs of age, wear, or variation may be present. These characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.
